  14. Rosé Sullivan says:

    Hello again, Ingrid & Daniel,
A couple of years ago I stated that I’ve been ordering from Ingrid’s Community Cuisine for a couple of years. That’s not quite accurate!!
Actually, I began joining the Monday Evening Dinners since almost the beginning of your being a presence in Downtown Phoenix about 13(?) years ago, when my good friend, Richard Starling, told me about you, Ingrid and Daniel, and about your generous cuisine and your desire to feed us hungry people good, organically produced, nutritious vegetarian meals.
I began ordering small orders once every couple of weeks after several months of enjoying the Monday Evening meals.
I am eternally, utterly grateful for this superior tasty, nutritious fare. Thank you! I love you! ~ Rosé

This was my first week ordering from Community Cuisine and it has already improved my life. Having healthy, pre-made, affordable, sustainable and delicious meals at the ready has inspired me to cultivate a more balanced, health-centric lifestyle… With the exception of the apple turnovers – those will be my approved “cheat treat!” 🙂 You can taste the love in every bite of Ingrid’s recipes and I am grateful for her labor of love and goodwill!

  19. Tracey Sridharan says:

I cannot imagine life without Community Cuisine! I was connected to the team a couple of years ago when I was experiencing an illness and too tired to cook for myself and my family. Since then and even after recovering from my illness, Community Cuisine is a staple in our home that we can’t live without. We are nourished by the food and grateful for the love, care and attention that goes into it. Thank you Ingrid, Daniel, Richard and team for keeping us healthy and offering a variety of delicious and nourishing options each week!

  20. Nikki Modisette says:

  26. Carol says:

I have been working the last two Sundays helping to portion the food into the reusable, environmentally sustainable jars that Chef Ingrid uses. I had a catering business for 7 years and was impressed on so many levels with Community Cuisine. First, their adherence to food safety could NOT be better. This is something we all take for granted, but to properly handle, cook, cool, and package food is incredibly labor intensive. One person is in charge of just cooling the food to the proper temperature. The food is all handled with such love, respect, and care by everyone on the Community Cuisine team. This is not how food is handled most of the time in our culture today. This food is so wholesome, enlivening and delicious. I would encourage people to come attend the Community Dinner on Monday at 6 PM to taste the wonderful variety of local, organic food that is available for us right here in our own city.

  27. Andy Seagle says:

Wonder food! So excited to have found Ingrid & Dan. Made my first pick up tonight and stayed for the community dinner as well. I feel blessed. Met many loving diners and Kithchen helpers too.
So impressed. I am grateful that real food prepared with care is no available to me regularly. Thank you Community Cuisine! Your newest fan! Andy

  28. Flower says:

I love the food but most of all my friends, Daniel & Ingrid who are the host & hostess with lots of love for everyone ? PEACE OUT….Floretta

  29. Lynne Ericksson says:

I’ve been associated with Daniel and Ingrid since her cooking love first started. And now I’m getting food every week so it’s even better than ever! I had an accident, followed by surgery and for over 3 months was pretty much home-bound. Having Ingrid’s fabulous food delivered to my home each week was for sure a “life-saver”, on many counts. My energy was quite low through much of that time so to have something ready to eat whenever I needed to was such a relief. And then to have it be the best on earth was like the frosting on a cake! I’m OK now but still getting food each week, hey, why not? Don’t see any reason to change a wonderful element in my life. Can’t thank Ingrid and Daniel enough…you really are “the best”!!!!

  30. Manika Manika says:

Thank you Ingrid & Daniel for the love & quality placed upon the choices you have made to nourish our mind, body and soul. I will spread the word to my friends.

  31. Rosé Triumpho Sullivan says:

    Dear Ingrid and Daniel,
Thank you for your lovely philosophy and actual PRACTICE of it!
As you know, I’ve been with you from almost your beginning when my dear friend, Richard Starling introduced me to you and your Community Cuisine.
At that beginning, there were only a handful of people at the Community Dinners As word of mouth spread your presence, the participation increased little by little. Now, you’ve become so well known, much respected, tremendously loved! We cannot imagine life before you entered! Thank you for being the caring, loving resource for many of us. Sending my love, Rosé Sullivan ♥

  32. Vicki Williams says:

Excited to come to my first community dinner with my daughter and sisters.

    • Rosé Triumpho Sullivan says:

Community Dinners are the ultimate in ‘Community’ at Ingrid’s & Daniel’s every Monday, early evenings. We are ‘breaking bread’ (so to speak) with some of the dearest people on the Planet with Ingrid’s nutritious offerings. —Surrounded with love emerging from the food and the people. I have attended these Community Dinners from the earliest years when they started at the Fair Trade Café downtown. Richard Starling introduced me to Ingrid & Daniel more than 10 years ago. Thank you, Richard! My life has been enriched since then. Many thanks to you, Ingrid, for your generosity with love and food.

  33. Jen Drost says:

I’ve been picking up meals from CC for the last few months. I’ve been so impressed with the quality of food. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and these meals are saving me a ton of time. Thank you, Ingrid, Daniel, and the whole CC team! ❤

  34. Rupal Mohan M.D says:

Ingrid does an amazing job with cooking a blend of healthy and delicious! I recommend her to my patients and friends. I absolutely love her salads. Thai crunch salad and samosas are my kids ‘ favorite items. We look forward to every Monday , and then devour the food!!!

  35. Betty says:

Ingrid and Sandy! Had a lot of fun today in your cooking class! We shall do it again, soon,I hope. Thank you, both! Namaste??❤?

  36. Janet says:

This looks pretty good. I’d love to take the vegan burger class. I follow the Bright Line Eating plan which prohibits flour (of any kind) and sugar. Do any of these 4 burgers in the class fall into a flour free category?

    • Ingrid says:

Hi Janet, thank you for your question. W3 do not use white or whole wheat flour in our burgers. However, a couple of the receipts use oats, oat flour or bread crumbs. One if the four recipes is completely grainfree, another one only uses millet. We hope that participants learn techniques they can apply to various recipes to adjust these recipes to their own dietary needs. Does this sufficiently answer your question?

      • Janet says:

I think so, Ingrid. Thank you for your response. I typically work on Saturdays so it’s tough to make it to any classes, or events, on that day of the week. Perhaps, my husband or sister would be willing to go in my place. All the best.

  37. Mary Walczak says:

I’ve been a customer for a bit over 6 months and am as much impressed with Community Cuisine as when I first started. What a convenience and money saver! I no longer throw out salad makings because I can’t use it all and no way am I as good a cook. ? More important to me are the concept behind Ingrid’s venture, her friendship and the camaraderie at the community dinner. Thanks for all that you do: Ingrid, Daniel, Richard and all of the staff!

  38. sara says:

I just had your coconut lentil soup for lunch today, it was perfection, tasty, creamy and delicious thank you so much

  39. sara says:

Hi Ingrid, I was not able to order for a couple of weeks, and wow did it show me how much I appreciate your food and your service, to be able to have fresh organic food waiting for me all ready to eat sitting in my fridge all week long is so wonderful.. I mix and match and add things and I know I am eating great healthy wonderful tasting food and I am not wasting food my buying too much and throwing food away when I don’t finish all of it!! Thank you thank you for your service and I hear now that you do delivery….awesome!!!

  40. Beth says:

I enjoy all the dishes from Community Cuisine but the lemon raspberry cake served recently was especially creamy and delicious! Thanks Ingrid and crew for making such wonderful, healthy food!

  41. Donna Delahanty says:

My passion is also feeding people and cooking vegan Ingrid. I wish you much success with your endeavor. ???

  42. Subhadip Roy says:

Monday Evenings have been a very nice social time for me for the past 4 months. Ingrid (and Daniel) and the kitchen crew, cook a excellent vegan meal with lot of varieties. Ingrid is very generous to share and talk about her recipes. I urge every vegan/vegetarian/veggie-motivated person to stop by on Monday to relish this meal. This is a pay as you go system, so you are welcome to decide your contribution.

  43. Tricia says:

First time ordering. I always wanted to hire a healthy cook. Really looking forward to this new life.

  44. Shea , RN says:

I can not express enough of my gratitude for Ingrid and her entire staff who work so hard to prepare healthy food and then give to others in need every Monday. I love every recipe that I purchase and look forward to the next menu. I have fibromyalgia and about to start school and work full time so this service is going to be especially important to me since I have to find short cuts with daily activities during this busy time to prevent flare -ups. Also, since the food has no preservatives or refined sugars, my body will have reduced inflammation as well. Strongly recommend this food service which supports the local community and is much cheaper than ordering from online food prep websites. Get the word out 🙂

  45. Mary Walczak says:

OMG – you’re my lifesavers! I can’t tell you how important your service is to me. I was introduced to you about 2 months ago and I rely on your food. It’s so tasty, nutritious and healthy and the best is, since money is very tight, I no longer waste food, throwing away what’s spoiled because I had to buy a big package or so many items just to make one dish and didn’t get to it or to use it all. You save me time and money and you take care of my “diet.” Thank you so much for all that you do!

  46. Rachelle says:

Hi there! My little family try’s to eat as healthy as possible though on a budget. This community dinner sounds amazing and such a beautiful concept. We are planning to come, my husband , myself and four kids. However the kids are all under 6 years of age with one being an infant and thus eat a lot less than an adult obviously…I’m wondering if someone might tell me an appropriate donation amount!? Thanks so much.

    • Daniel says:

Hi Rachelle, you and your whole family is very welcome. Sorry I cannot easily give you amount that is appropriate because ANY amount is appropriate to us. It is also not really a donation… it is Pay-As-You-Can. So please don’t worry about that… feel into what’s right for you when you are there for what you receive and for what you can afford. The pay as you can model is in place so that we make sure that nobody is turned away. Our mission is to feed everybody who comes healthy, tasty, good food no matter what they contribute. You can simply help (setup starts at 5:30, after dinner: cleanup…) if you want to do that… but if you contribute or not: you are very welcome!

  47. Lori Koch says:

Oh my goodness, I love what you’re doing! ? Registered for July 11th dinner. What days/hours do you offer take out? Thanks!

  48. Lynda says:

I’m ordering this week for the first time. My workplace is very big on healthy living. How many orders would we need to get a delivery to my work location? It is on Cotton Center Blvd.

  49. sara says:

Superfoods Veggie Jar with Tempeh Bacon is totally awesome!! thank you 🙂 eating it for lunch and had to tell you

  50. Tobias says:

Where and when do you do the community dinner? And how many people do you need to come to our house and prepare dinner for us

  51. Holly says:

I absolutely love the philosophy and the food is delicious. The best part is getting to make new friends while trying new things. Last monday was my first time and I have been thinking about it ever since. It is such an eclectic and warm group of people. Thank you Ingrid!!

  52. Holly says:

Love the beet burgers, reheated w/a little coconut oil the sauce is amazing….ps…need more almond lemon cookies….!!!

  53. Ingrid Stromberg says:

I am interested in taking some Vegan cooking classes. Do you offer any of these classes?

    • Daniel says:

Hi Ingrid, we have cooking classes quite regularly. Please subscribe to our menu announcements and you’ll also receive the announcements for our cooking classes. Thanks for you interest 🙂

  54. Francine Beyer says:

Hi, I just found you and am very interested in your food ordering. I’m going to check it out. I also saw that you have previously had a knife skills class. I would be interested in this class if you host it again

    • Daniel says:

Hi Francine, thank you for your interest. We have classes come up on a regular basis. Please subscribe to our weekly menu announcements since we also announce upcoming cooking classes that way. I’m looking forward to meeting you sometime soon 🙂

  55. Cheryl says:

Hello Ingrid! I love your wonderful ideas and thoughts you have on everyone needs to eat. It is so true that so many people go hungry and don’t have the financial ability to buy food and prepare it. How does your food once prepared get to those who are in need or want to purchase your food? Blessings, love and gratitude for your kind heart. <3

    • Daniel says:

Hi Cheryl, thanks for your feedback! This is Daniel, Ingrid’s husband. At this point we have cooked food for people who had an immediate need to get fed because of their current situation i.e. there were sick, just gave birth or any other situation in which we thought having our food would make a difference. Other than that people join us for community dinner: to get fed… no questions ask. It’s a pay-as-you-can dinner and we never check how much people give. We often have left overs and end up giving those to volunteers (who we always need to setup and clean up community dinner). We are always improving what we do… this is where we are at as of now.
I hope that answers your question. Cheers, Daniel

  56. Christine says:

THANK YOU! Without the Community Cuisine team, I wouldn’t be eating healthy. Thank for you the delicious and diverse food!!

Thank you, Ingrid, for feeding me so well! It is a marvelous thing you are doing: feeding all who come and allowing all to, “Pay as you can”. You have been preparing and serving us good, natural, organic, locally grown, nutritious, vegetarian food for many years. This THANKSGIVING, I give thanks once again for your generous hospitality. My love and blessings to you and Daniel and to all of your excellent kitchen team. Thank you.

  58. Caren Jablonsky says:

I have been coming to the community dinner for a couple of years. I am filled with gratitude that I was brought to such an amazing weekly event and my heart sings every time I see everyone. I will continue to drive up from Tucson to remain a part if such a wondrous gathering of great food and awesome people!

  59. Doreen Sinclaire says:

Well, was once again looking forward to joining you, even rsvp’ed this time, but got called in to work.

  60. Sat kaur says:

Can you show up to eat on Monday nights if you have not made an order?

  61. barbara says:

I’ve been coming to the dinner for over a month and I have made it a regular weekly activity because the food is so good and I feel that I am so lucky to have this opportunity. Just by tasting the variety of foods it has inspired me to try new recipes and also try to copy the ones I am getting at the community dinner. I have to admit that I am a bit lazy and just ordering some of the foods every week I can layer them with others that i cook myself during the week and it makes my meal planning simpler and more special. The food is so delicious and healthy.

  62. Sue says:

This food is fabulous! And attending the Community Dinner is so much fun. I bring friends and meet new people, it’s a great experience. It is a blessing for our community that we are able to get this delicious, nutritious, healthy food! Thank you Ingrid and Daniel.

I just attended my first community dinner at Kitchen Sharing and both the people and the food were AMAZING. Thank you for your service to the community, I can’t believe you offer organic and vegan, quality, fresh, local food at these kind of prices. As a single parent I am able to now offer my son tastes from around the world once a week, and knowing that his body is nourished. Thank you!!!!!!!! Amy

  65. Rachel Carson says:

Thank you Ingrid and Team for the always delicious, creative meals! I so appreciate the concern about the quality and nutrition of the food you provide and I love that you are always thinking of new ideas like the 7 layer/large salads (amazing!!). I’m now a soup convert, a fennel lover, a cabbage lover (who knew 🙂 and there are too many other favorites to mention.

  68. Michelle O says:

OK, I rarely order dessert because I am not a sweets girl. I crave garlic, salt and other spices. I occasionally order dessert for my three, teenage boys. This week I ordered the Lemon Tease Cake. – 3 slices. I just downed my second slice and am hiding the third one. It is so scrumptious. Everything is scrumptious. Also, this week, I got two orders of the beat burgers. This is one of my favorites. I love eating healthy, vegan food. It makes me happy. -so appreciative of Ingrid, her family and for everyone that helps her in the process of making all this amazing nourishment. Thank you!

    • ROSÉ SULLIVAN says:

I’ve been ordering from Ingrid’s Community Cuisine menu for a couple of years. During this time I’ve been totally well nourished with every tasty dish. It’s a perfect convenience for me to add ‘A JAR OF GOODNESS’ to my lunch box every day for work. Then, to be able to prepare my evening meal with fantastic ease when I arrive home fatigued from my day’s toils (at the computer)! Ingrid and her family, Daniel, and all the others, “helpers” & volunteers are my “Doctors of Nourishment!” Thank you all for your amazing philosophy of nourishment for the community. Thank you Ingrid and Daniel especially for planting the seed.

This was my 1st week ordering food through Your Community Cook. It was amazing. I work long days and it was nice to have healthy vegetarian meals already prepared. I order enough for the entire week. I have recommended this site to many of my friends.

Community cuisine has become a staple for our family. Being a busy, working mom who is health and budget conscious, this is a dream come true! Everything is so tasty, so the toughest part is choosing which dishes to feast upon. Sometimes I splurge and simply order one of everything!

  91. Nancy Cavazos says:

I just met you guys at the Phoenix Public Market last week and am looking forward to coming to the dinner when I finally get a Sunday off! 95. sandy says:

You have me talking to my vegetables.

  96. I cannot express how grateful and humbled I was by chancing upon you, simply by looking for healthful food while at a real estate convention this past weekend where all they offered was fat-laden, sugar doused JUNK. And then I see how you care so deeply about others and give so much of yourselves, asking nothing in return. I was truly humbled by what I saw. I promised you that if I could photograph you I would post it in my Facebook page. I did that, and I placed your website there, too and told people that when in Phoenix they had to go visit you and eat the ONLY good food they will experience while at the Convention Center! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and for what you do for our fellow human beings!

  97. Katrina Friess says:

I live in the UK and love the sound of what you are doing but please could you explain to me in more detail about how your organisation works so that I could work out whether I could do something similar here? Thanks very much

Hi Katrina, I don’t know if Ingrid already responded to you but we are currently developing a model but we are not really in a position to share it yet. It is our desire to create a model that others like you can use to start something like Community Cuisine in your community. Please stay in touch 🙂

    Dear Ingrid,
Where to begin my praise? Everywhere! A couple of weeks ago the spaghetti squash pizza sent my taste buds to cuisine heaven. This past week, the breaded-sautéed celery root melted on my tongue. And, the minestrone soup delighted my Italiana palate. Your creations make my belly happy! —And, my nutrition complete. Thank you for being there for me! Love you, Rosé

  102. Trish Connelly says:

There are no words to express the gratitude that is in my heart for the love and passion that Ingrid puts into her cooking. Recently a friend shared the with me and I was blown away that I was able to get a weeks worth of meals for my husband and I for less that $100. But my amazement continued as each day we began to feel stronger and more energetic. Our weight is decreasing our blood sugars are decreasing and people are commenting on how much better we are looking. I can think clearer which is important as I am currently working on my masters degree. People ask if we are dieting and I tell them no, we are just eating good wholesome food made with love by Ingrid. The food is full of flavor and beautiful to look at. I have been telling all my friends and family to come and dine. The food is amazing and the service is too. I love the Sunday Community Dinner. Ingrid thank you and promise that you will continue with your dream because you are amazing and you have given us the chance that we needed to learn the benefits of good wholesome food. Thank you
    Love always,
    Trish and Fabio Connelly
